So there’s a scam going around that starts with a random “Hey Tara, how have you been?” text. You say they have the wrong number… and instead of leaving, they suddenly become SUPER friendly.
Then comes:
“What do you do for work?”
“You seem nice.”
“I make great money online.”
“Have you heard of AI training / crypto / investing?”
Next thing you know, they’re trying to get you to “deposit” money to start “working.”
Just a reminder:
Real jobs do NOT require deposits. Random strangers do NOT accidentally become your financial mentor. Wrong number conversations that keep going are usually intentional

Stay safe out there y’all. If it feels weird, trust your gut.
