I texted the radio station for a trivia sweepstakes and "won"
I entered a trivia give away that I heard on the radio while I was at work late one night. They said 50 people would be chosen to win. The radio said to text a country without the letter A in it to 96551. I did and 6 days go by and I forgot about it.
I got a call today from a (321) number but I didnt pick up because I didnt know the number. I was left a 21 second voicemail saying
"Hello this ray calling about the i heart radio trivia promotion you entered on may 13th. You texted chile to 96551 on the radio which means you get a 4 day 3 night carribean vacation for 2 people with included air fare. Call back to redeem..." etc
Anyways I called because I was curious and he said that it would be a 99 dollar fee for everything to be processed but the vacation is free.
He also said id have to go to a local vacation place to redeem it. In my case he said the closest one was in the Poconos.
I just want to know if anybody has ever won one of these before, if I really did win, or if theyre gonna make me sit through a time share presentation and try to sell me on that.
Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you
