Dawn Wright-Olivares, former Chief Operating Officer of Zeek Rewards, has joined iWowWe as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Her appointment follows the SEC's shutdown of Zeek Rewards, a $600 million Ponzi scheme, where Wright-Olivares had previously admitted the company used new affiliate funds to pay existing members.

Wright-Olivares disappeared from public view before the SEC moved to shut down Zeek Rewards. She was not present when the legal action against the company began.

Reports surfaced months later regarding Wright-Olivares' new business, Savage Smokes. She marketed electronic cigarettes through this non-MLM venture. This appeared to mark her departure from the multi-level marketing industry.

The Savage Smokes website remains online, but activity seems dormant. The last recorded blog entry on the site dates back to January 14. Its future remains unclear. Wright-Olivares has now returned to the MLM industry.

She features in an iWowWe marketing video, introducing herself as the company's new Chief Marketing Officer. iWowWe, founded in 2007, sells a video email and meeting service.

Other personnel linked to Zeek Rewards have also joined iWowWe. Alex deBrantes, Wright-Olivares' husband, now serves as Internet Marketing Director. He held the title of Internet Marketing Manager at Zeek Rewards. Jon Wright, Zeek Rewards' Compliance Manager, is iWowWe's Compliance Director. Aaron Baker works as a Market Research Analyst.

In the marketing video, Wright-Olivares said iWowWe owner Bill Starkey "showed up on her doorstep." She cited the company's "commitment to excellence, you (affiliates) and the children of the world" as reasons to accept the position. She called iWowWe her new "home."

Starkey also appears in the video. After Wright-Olivares declared she would "take iWowWe to the next level," Starkey welcomed her. "This is a great moment at iWowWe. Here we've got Dawn and her entire team coming on board with us in the marketing department," Starkey stated. "As the CEO I've been able to work with some of the brightest and best talent in the world and now, to have Dawn and her team in marketing, it's an extraordinary moment for all of us."

Hundreds of thousands of Zeek Rewards affiliates await claims against the company. Wright-Olivares has not publicly addressed her involvement in the scheme.
