Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) added Yu Klik to its illegal investments list in April 2022, just weeks after the cryptocurrency arbitrage platform launched. The OJK action followed the platform's incorporation in Indonesia as PT Smart Multi Trade on March 21, 2022.

Yu Klik provides no information about its company ownership or corporate structure on its website. The domain "yuklik.id" was privately registered on March 21, 2022. The platform appears to have begun operations around April 5, with its website currently functioning as an affiliate login form. Another domain, "yunetwork.id," was previously associated with the platform before being rebranded as "Arbitgo" and subsequently abandoned.

On social media, Yu Klik promoters identify "Mr. Ardiansyah" as the company's Commissioner and "Mr. Samuel" as its CEO. Both individuals made appearances at a Yu Klik launch event in April 2022. Further verifiable details about their corporate backgrounds or official roles remain unavailable.

Yu Klik primarily targets Indonesian speakers, reflecting its origin. Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, known as Kominfo, is also aware of the platform. The OJK, Indonesia's financial regulator, issued its public warning against Yu Klik due to its unauthorized investment activities. Such warnings are common for schemes operating without proper licensing or offering unrealistic returns.

Yu Klik does not offer any retailable products or services. Affiliates market only Yu Klik memberships, which grant access to a supposed cryptocurrency trading bot. The platform claims its bot operates in the spot crypto market, unaffected by price manipulation, offers unlimited daily profits, boasts 99.99% trading accuracy, and runs continuously. These claims are typical of high-yield investment programs that rely on new investor funds to pay earlier ones.

The compensation plan for Yu Klik affiliates is denominated in Indonesian rupiah. New affiliates choose between a Regular membership, priced at Rp 150,000 (approximately $10.40 USD), or a Premium membership, costing Rp 200,000 (about $13.90 USD). The specific differences or benefits distinguishing these two membership tiers are not explained in promotional materials.

Yu Klik's multi-level marketing (MLM) structure pays commissions based on affiliate recruitment and the trading activity of downline affiliates. To qualify for these MLM commissions, affiliates must maintain an active investment balance within the platform. The compensation plan includes six affiliate ranks. These begin with "Member" upon signing up. Progressing to "Sapphire" requires recruiting ten new affiliates and generating 1,500,000 BV (Business Volume). Higher ranks like "Topaz" demand further recruitment and volume targets.

Anonymous ownership, lack of transparent financial operations, and an emphasis on recruitment are common characteristics of Ponzi schemes. The OJK's listing of Yu Klik as an illegal investment strongly advises against participation. Investors should always verify the legitimacy of any investment opportunity with local financial regulators before committing funds.
