YouTube has suspended Max Stiegemeier's "gcfglobalsystem" channel, citing multiple violations of its spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content policies. The ban follows Stiegemeier's promotion of various matrix-based recruitment schemes, which increased in frequency over the past six months.

Stiegemeier's multi-level marketing (MLM) ventures consistently lacked retail products. They relied instead on new member recruitment to generate commissions for existing participants. These schemes, without a sustainable product, routinely collapsed. This prompted Stiegemeier to relaunch identical concepts under new brand names repeatedly.

His marketing videos, a consistent feature across all companies, showcased Stiegemeier calling himself "the Internet's TOP super affiliate". These YouTube uploads typically depicted him in front of computer screens, promising viewers they had found "the most important website they'll ever visit". Stiegemeier often embedded these videos directly onto the homepages of his various company sites.

This method of promotion has now ended. YouTube acted sometime last week, suspending the "gcfglobalsystem" account.

YouTube's stated reason for the suspension was "multiple or severe violations" of its policies regarding "spam, scams and commercially deceptive content". An internal investigation by YouTube concluded that Stiegemeier's operations, including recent ventures like Auto Profit Machine and Auto Profit Global, constituted commercially deceptive scams.

YouTube's findings align with independent assessments of Auto Profit Machine and Auto Profit Global. These earlier reviews identified them as recruitment scams.

The suspension of Stiegemeier's account raises questions about his credibility and that of his MLM companies. It also prompts speculation whether YouTube has begun a broader effort to restrict dubious MLM promotions on its platform. Other promoters of recruitment-based MLM scams may face similar platform restrictions.
