Cary Cole serves as CEO of YouDazzle, a company with a street address in California, according to an offhand blog post and press release. Cole has led Broncus Technologies since 2001, a firm focused on developing minimally-invasive medical devices for lung diseases. His experience in network marketing or running an MLM company is not clear.
YouDazzle offers cloud services that do not require additional software. These services are hosted in a virtual "cloud." Two primary cloud-based services are available to members and customers: an online meeting service and a file-sharing service. The online meeting service supports over 250 users for screen sharing or up to 5000 users for file sharing. The file-sharing service allows users to upload and download files.
Customers can access these services through two main plans, "Starter" and "Premier." The YouDazzle Starter Plan costs $19 monthly or $199 annually. This plan includes up to 100 people in a live meeting and 20 data rooms for file sharing. The YouDazzle Premier Plan costs $39 monthly or $399 annually. It allows up to 5000 people in a live meeting, unlimited data rooms, screen sharing, audio conferencing, video conferencing, and webinar recording. A free plan is also available, offering one data room and one gigabyte of storage for restricted file sharing.
The YouDazzle compensation plan pays retail sales upfront. Residual commissions use a unilevel compensation structure. Independent Affiliates (IAs) cannot recruit Independent Consultants (ICs) or customers. Instead, IAs drive traffic to their website. If a visitor signs up as a customer or IC, the IA earns 20% on monthly service fees for the first 12 months, then 10% thereafter. The maximum commission an IC can earn on monthly service fees is 35%. The IA commission makes up 57% of the total commission available to the IC the customer signs up under.
IAs must generate at least 10 Business Volume (BV) monthly to remain active and qualify for commissions from converted leads. Inactivity for six months or more leads to affiliate termination. IAs can upgrade to become ICs later, but they retain only the original 15% payout on service subscription fees. Any new sales made after upgrading are paid at the IC commission rate.
Retail commissions allow an Independent Consultant to earn up to 35% on service subscriptions from retail customers. A new IC earns 20% on service subscription fees. This rate increases to 35% after selling three subscriptions to retail customers, IAs, or ICs. These are rolling commissions. If an IC signs up someone at 20% and later makes three sales, all current subscription commissions will rise to 35%.
ICs must also meet 100 Personal Sales Business Volume each month. Failure to do so drops payable commissions to 25%, regardless of whether the IC has three paid customers. Business Volume appears to be approximately 60-64% of the retail cost of a service subscription. YouDazzle does not distinguish between ICs, IAs, and retail customers for classifying retail sales. Anyone in an IC's immediate downline who subscribes to a service generates a 35% commission on their monthly or annual service subscription fee.
YouDazzle offers a "retroactive" 15% Fast Start bonus commission for ICs who did not qualify for the full 35% on their first month's service subscription fees. This bonus makes up the difference if the IC qualifies for the full 35% commission in their second month. This bonus is shared evenly with any IA who generates a lead that converts into a service subscription sale under the IC.
Residual commissions in YouDazzle are paid through a unilevel structure. ICs recruited directly by an individual are placed on their level 1. ICs recruited by level 1 members form level 2, and so on. The commission payout on the unilevel organization depends on the YouDazzle membership rank.
A Managing Consultant must achieve 100 Personal Business Volume (PBV) a month and recruit at least one IC who generates a minimum of 20 PBV a month. This rank earns 6% on level 1 and 5% on level 2.
A Senior Consultant needs 100 PBV a month, at least 400 cumulative PBV, three recruited ICs generating at least 100 PBV a month, and a unilevel team generating 1000 Group Business Volume (GBV) on levels 1 to 3 monthly. This rank earns 6% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3, and 4% on level 4.
An Executive Consultant requires 200 PBV a month, at least 1000 cumulative PBV, at least three recruited ICs generating 100 PBV a month, and a unilevel team generating at least 3000 GBV on levels 1 to 3 monthly. This rank earns 6% on level 1, 5% on levels 2 and 3, and 4% on levels 4 and 5.
YouDazzle unilevel residual commissions are paid out on BV, not the retail dollar value of the monthly service subscription fees. BV is roughly 60-64% of the retail dollar value, depending on the subscribed service. An Executive Consultant achieves a Director Rank Group Bonus when they reach 8,000 group volume a month.
