Jay Tuerk, CEO, and Yoni Ashurov, President, lead Warranty Rewards, as identified in a company marketing video. Despite their executive roles, neither man's name appears on the Warranty Rewards public website, nor on the site for its parent company, Matrix Protection.
The Warranty Rewards website, mywarrantyrewards.com, registered on October 15, 2013, uses private domain registration, obscuring its ownership details. A corporate address in Florida is provided, but no further information about who operates the business. The site's "Company" page only states that Warranty Rewards started as "the direct selling arm of Matrix Protection."
Matrix Protection also lacks ownership details on its website, matrixprotection.com. Its domain was registered in 2009, also with private registration. The absence of executive names on either company's public platforms raises questions about transparency.
Tuerk and Ashurov share a long business history. Tuerk is credited as CEO and Ashurov as President for both Matrix Protection and Energy Management Systems International (EMS). EMS, found at emsint.com, does not operate as a multi-level marketing company. It sells "The EnergyMizer," a line of energy management systems with UL and CSA approvals. Warranty Rewards appears to be the first direct selling venture for both men in executive roles.
Warranty Rewards offers no retailable products of its own. Instead, it markets a warranty protection service through Matrix Protection. The Matrix Electronics Protection Plan is promoted as a comprehensive service, covering "ALL eligible electronics" like TVs, computers, phones, and gaming consoles.
This plan costs $29.97 per month with no long-term contract. A Matrix Protection infomercial on the Warranty Rewards website states the company will repair, replace, or refund any covered electronics "no questions asked."
The Warranty Rewards compensation plan pays affiliates to secure customers for the Matrix Protection warranty subscription. Affiliates earn a $25 Fast Start Bonus when they recruit a new affiliate who becomes "active" within 30 days. An affiliate becomes active by obtaining at least one customer.
