Vincent Anthony Mazzotta Jr. has pled guilty to conspiracy to obstruct justice and money laundering.

Mozzotta (right), aka Vincent Midnight, Anthony, Delta Prime and Director Vinchenzo, was a central figure in Mind Capital and several related Ponzi schemes.

Mazotta is facing fifteen years imprisonment on the two charges. His plea and cooperation will see a recommended reduction but ultimately that’s up to a Judge.

Mazzotta’s guilty plea will see him forfeit $597,763, proceeds tied to his involvement in Mind Capital. A monetary penalty will also be determined at some point.

Mind Capital
was an MLM crypto Ponzi that
collapsed
in 2021. Mazzotta and two accomplices, David Gilbert Saffron and David Kagel were charged and in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Kagel
pled guilty
in May 2024 and was
sentenced to five years probation
in October 2024.

Mazzotta’s guilty plea was signed on June 5th and filed on June 6th. Court approval remains pending.

One of the clauses in Mazzotta’s guilty plea requires him to

cooperate fully with the United States, the Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation, and, as directed by the United States, any other federal, state, local, or foreign prosecuting, enforcement, administrative, or regulatory authority.

It’s assumed this will be used as leverage in David Saffron’s case. Failing which, Saffron is scheduled to face trial on August 25th, 2025.

Update 13th August 2025 –
Vincent Mazotta’s guilty plea received court approval on July 28th, 2025.

Update 13th November 2025 –
As of November 10th, Vincent Mazotta is still “providing ongoing assistance and cooperation” to the DOJ.

As a result Mazotta’s sentencing, scheduled for December 15th, has been continued to April 13th, 2026.
