Vidacup International launched its multi-level marketing operation in mid-2012 from North Carolina, focusing on mushroom coffee. CEO Jeff Mack leads the company, which aims to enter a market already crowded with similar MLM coffee products. The company’s launch suggests a belief in demand for another mushroom coffee offering.
Mack’s executive biography credits him with generating “multimillion-dollar earnings” from nearly $100,000,000 in total sales within the MLM industry. Before Vidacup, Mack was a “Double Diamond” member at Waiora, where he appeared in marketing and training materials. Records show his involvement with Waiora extended at least to 2009. His Vidacup bio does not mention Waiora or provide a reason for his departure from that company. Top leaders often leave MLM companies due to declining business or management issues.
Donna Valdes, another member of Vidacup's corporate team, also has a history in the MLM sector. Valdes first appeared as a frontline distributor for LiveSmart 360 in 2010. She stated at the time that LiveSmart 360 would be her final network marketing company. But Valdes left LiveSmart 360 soon after its official launch, reportedly earning $57,600 in prelaunch commissions.
Valdes then joined Javita, an MLM coffee startup, in late 2010. She remained with Javita for about a year, leaving in October 2011. Javita is an offshoot of Waiora, the same company where Jeff Mack was a top earner and where Donna Valdes had been involved before LiveSmart 360. Valdes later registered the vidacup.com domain name on February 23rd, 2012, after leaving Javita. She also had a brief period with Serenigy, another MLM mushroom coffee company.
