TelexFree US affiliates received fresh misinformation last Sunday, according to a conference call hosted by Randy Crosby and uploaded by Faith Sloan. Both individuals belonged to the "TelexFree Global Team." Sloan had publicly declared TelexFree her primary business opportunity for 2013 on her personal blog in February.
The call's central topic was a purported contract between TelexFree and an unnamed insurance company. Affiliates were told the signing was complete, but no one was permitted to publish details. "Any information out there that's posted guys or read on the actual website for the company it needs to be taken down immediately," one speaker stated. The company considered the information delicate, according to the call.
"Basically the insurance contract, everything has been done and signed but we are not allowed to post that anywhere on the internet," the host explained. "The company's very serious about that. they will come and there will be actions." Affiliates were assured a signed contract existed, possibly even multiple. Yet, it was "critical that people aren't posting anything about TelexFree and the name of any of the insurance companies that they are going to use."
Corporate directives demanded immediate removal of any such postings. TelexFree maintained it was the sole entity allowed to publish information about its external relationships. The call also revealed that affiliates had been directly contacting the insurance company. "Believe it or not we had people calling the insurance company asking about their stock, and asking about binaries, and asking about how many people they should put on their left and right team," the speaker noted.
Such calls "cannot happen," affiliates were warned. The company asked individuals to report anyone posting insurance details, emphasizing the directive came directly from TelexFree's legal department.
