Ultimate Profits Network is powered by Team Impact LLC, led by Jon Scherling and Geoff Cash. The company operates from a virtual mailbox in Pennsylvania, according to its website. A promotional YouTube video also identifies Scherling and Cash as the owners.
Scherling previously launched "2010 Blessings," a gifting scheme in late 2009. Participants initially paid $25 and received up to $100 from others. After receiving $100, they contributed further amounts of $50, $100, and $250 to receive $200, $400, and $800 in gifts. Scherling's APSense profile identifies him as a "master affiliate" for Smart Media Technologies since December 2011. He claimed Smart Media Technologies would "shut down quite a few similar programs" upon its full launch.
Geoff Cash has a history in affiliate marketing with several dubious schemes. He was involved with Just Been Paid, a Ponzi scheme, ProsperElite, a matrix-based recruitment program, and Holy Grail Residuals, a gifting scheme.
Ultimate Profits offers no retailable products or services. Affiliates market only the membership itself. Membership includes capture pages, an auto-responder, a contact list builder, and a library of private label rights ebooks.
The Ultimate Profits compensation plan centers on a single 4x4 matrix. Monthly commissions come from affiliate membership fees. In a 4x4 matrix, an affiliate sits at the top with four positions directly below them, forming Level 1. Each of these four positions then branches into four more, continuing down four levels.
A full 4x4 matrix contains 340 positions. Recruited affiliates fill these spots, whether directly or through the efforts of their upline and downline. The affiliate at the matrix's top earns monthly commissions based on the number and level of affiliates below them. Level 1 affiliates generate $4 each, totaling $16. Level 2 affiliates pay $2 each, totaling $32. Level 3 affiliates contribute $2 each, totaling $128. Level 4 affiliates yield $10 each, totaling $2560.
Affiliates who recruit at least four others receive a 50% matching bonus. This bonus applies to the Level 4 matrix commissions earned by their personally recruited affiliates. Recruitment commissions are also offered, with Ultimate Profits paying out $5 a month for every personally recruited affiliate.
