US-based promoters of the uFun Club, a financial scheme now under criminal investigation in Thailand, held a webinar to quell fears among their downlines. The event featured Michael Mansell, Rodney Burton, Bryant Barbee, and Jamison Palmer, leaders of the group uFun Dominators. They sought to assure potential recruits that despite ongoing scrutiny in Thailand, the operation remained sound.

Jamison Palmer, formerly residing in Thailand and now reportedly back in the US, made a significant claim during the webinar. He stated that Malaysian authorities have no issues with uFun Club. Palmer asserted that Thai officials had contacted Malaysia regarding the uFun situation. According to Palmer, Malaysia’s response was that they had already reviewed the platform and found no problems. The source of Palmer's knowledge of Malaysia's regulatory stance remains unclear.

Palmer also addressed the investigation in Thailand directly. He acknowledged police activity at the uFun office but downplayed its impact, suggesting business continued as usual. This assertion contrasts sharply with reports from Thai news outlets, which cite Thai police directly. Palmer also presented a purported statement from the Thai Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha, indicating the Prime Minister saw no criminal activity related to uFun.

The uFun Dominators group claims to possess privileged information. They stated they are “well connected” to uFun Club management and the corporate office. This connection, they suggested, provides them with an advantage over information disseminated through other channels, which they labeled as “faulty websites.” This likely includes mainstream news organizations reporting on the Thai investigation.

The uFun Club has been widely described as a $1.17 billion Ponzi scheme. The criminal investigation in Thailand began after widespread reports of fraudulent practices. Investors have raised concerns about the platform’s operations and the distribution of potentially misleading information. The promoters’ webinar appears to be an effort to counteract negative publicity and maintain recruitment momentum.
