Egyptian authorities arrested four TVI Express leaders at a Cairo business center three weeks ago, even as the company's CEO, Tarun Trikha, faced arrest last month in India. The travel scheme continues to operate online, with affiliates still active globally.

An officer from Egypt's Public Funds Crime's Investigation Unit arrived during a TVI Express meeting. They arrested four local individuals identified as ringleaders of the scheme.

Two of the arrested affiliates were later released. But when another TVI Express affiliate came to the police station and attempted to intervene on behalf of his associates, officers arrested him as well. Affiliate Ahmed Ali, speaking for his "colleagues," stated they were arrested without a warrant. "The lawyers do not understand why they are being held," Ali said.

The three detained TVI affiliates have appeared before judges twice. Court orders mandated they remain in custody on remand. These proceedings occurred despite Ali's claim that TVI Express is "simply a network marketing company. We do not use a pyramid scheme."

The trio is scheduled to appear in court again for sentencing on June 11th, facing charges related to their participation and promotion of TVI Express in Egypt.
