Travista Worldwide, a travel club multi-level marketing scheme, launched on October 16, 2011. CEO and founder Andrew Zic operates the company through Destination Network Int. LLC, based in Florida. This structure allows the company to persist while many similar travel club MLMs have failed after new memberships stopped.
Zic previously worked at Reservation Services International (RSI). Travista Worldwide now uses RSI to provide travel services and bookings for its members. Records indicate Andrew Zic was arrested by the Oviedo Police Department in 1992. A public link citing this arrest became unavailable in December 2019.
Travista Worldwide offers no retail products. Membership to the company is its sole product. Members market only this membership to prospective recruits. While the membership includes travel services and bookings, third-party companies license these services. Travista Worldwide collects membership fees but does not directly handle the travel service side of the business.
The Travista Worldwide compensation plan uses a 2x1 matrix. A member sits at the top, with two positions directly underneath. Once these two membership positions fill, Travista Worldwide pays a commission. The first two cycles of the matrix pay $100 each. Subsequent cycles pay $200.
Travista also fills one matrix position per month for each member who pays their monthly fee. This aims to help members complete cycles faster. To qualify for the $200 cycle commission, however, a member must have personally recruited two new participants into Travista Worldwide. Failure to meet this requirement means $100 cycle commissions continue until the two recruits are made.
Travista Worldwide also pays a "2-up" commission. When a personally recruited member cycles out of their first two matrices, the recruiter receives a $100 commission. This is a one-time payment per recruited member after their initial two matrix cycles.
