SociPays launched in June 2013, headed by Thomas Green, also known as Tom Green, who is credited as the company's CEO on its website. Green brings over 40 years of sales, marketing, and business management experience, having entered network marketing in the 1970s.
Green began marketing online in 1994. He has owned several companies, including Dynamics4Success, Web Factor 2, and Tours4Success. He built large downlines in many companies before leading SociPays.com.
Green appears to operate his online ventures through Techs4success Inc, a parent company based in Florida. Despite the US-based address for Techs4success, Green himself seems to reside in the Philippines.
The Better Business Bureau listing for Techs4success Inc shows an incorporation date of February 2005, with "Thomas D Green" listed as Director and President. A website domain, "4s2s.com," supplied on the BBB listing, is no longer active. Several other domains linked to Techs4success Inc also show no activity.
Shortly after uploading SociPays informational videos to his YouTube account, "4VNetwork," Green started posting comments on other YouTube videos. These posts sought to attract "special leaders" for SociPays. The comments offered a "FREE $850 Plan 3 Upgrade," advertised "perfect for leaders and multiple positions and big payouts," and promised payment for cycles and referral cycles.
Green's comments detailed the SociPays structure: "7 separate 2 X 2 recycler matrixes fill only 6 slots," with "no graduating steps or connecting matrixes." Payouts were described as "Growing from $100 to $5,000," with "Each Referral Pays avg $1,000 a Cycle Big Money Fast." These solicitations appeared on affiliate marketer videos for Rocket Cash Cycler, a $315 matrix-based pyramid scheme, and HourlyRevShare, a collapsed $5 Ponzi investment scheme. Green's choice to target these specific businesses suggests he believed their affiliates would be receptive to SociPays.
SociPays offers no retailable products or services. Affiliates market only membership to the company itself. The SociPays business opportunity includes a social network called "Soci-Net" at soci-net.com, but this site appears to have no direct connection to SociPays operations.
Once an affiliate joins SociPays, they can buy into seven compensation plan levels, which the company calls "plans." Each SociPays affiliate plan bundles a series of marketing products. Plan 1, priced at $100, includes five "certificates" used to assign sponsorless new affiliates upon their signup. Plan 2 costs $250 and comes with a "marketing system."
