Robert Oblon, a figure previously associated with the WorldVentures pyramid scheme, has resurfaced as the CEO of Rockit Gig. The company operates from two websites, rockitgig.com and rockitgig.app, both registered privately in June and November 2024 respectively. Oblon’s involvement raises immediate concerns given his history and departure from WorldVentures under legal duress.

Rockit Gig’s websites conspicuously omit any information about its ownership or executive team. This lack of transparency is a significant red flag for potential participants. Further investigation into Oblon’s past reveals a pattern of involvement with multilevel marketing companies, including Elevacity, which later became Elepreneurs. Elepreneurs, under the parent company Sharing Services Inc., experienced financial struggles before a reported turnaround. However, Oblon was removed from Elepreneurs’ board in 2020 amid allegations of financial misconduct.

Oblon then founded Amplefei, a venture that reportedly failed to achieve profitability before being sold and merged into Nucleogenex. Nucleogenex, still linked to LaCore Enterprises, does not list Oblon on its current website. However, records show Oblon, in his capacity as CEO of UClue Inc., signed a settlement agreement in 2022 concerning lead content in supplements. The presence of Nucleogenex products on Rockit Gig’s site suggests a continued connection between Oblon, Nucleogenex, and LaCore Enterprises.

The FTC Act requires companies to disclose ownership and executive details. Rockit Gig’s failure to do so may constitute a violation. Consumers considering joining such ventures should exercise extreme caution when the leadership is not clearly identified.

Rockit Gig functions as a portal, directing consumers to external websites to finalize purchases. The wellness products link to Nucleogenex, weight loss products to Curbix, and coffee products to an unlaunched site. Travel offerings redirect to HappiTravel, a company believed to be at least partially owned by Oblon. Curbix itself is connected to Finalli Labs, another entity seemingly linked to Oblon. Rockit Gig’s site provides no product details or pricing, only redirecting visitors elsewhere.

The compensation plan for Rockit Gig affiliates involves commissions on sales from these affiliated third-party companies. The plan outlines five affiliate ranks: CD1 through CD5. Qualification for these ranks depends on achieving specific Personal Volume (PV), Group Volume (GV), and Community Sales Volume (CSV) targets. PV is generated through personal purchases, retail customer sales, and sales from personally recruited affiliates. GV encompasses PV from an affiliate and their downline. CSV is based on PV generated by all affiliates who join after a given member, either directly or indirectly.

Commissions for retail and referral sales stand between 30% and 33% of the sale amount. These apply to sales made to retail customers and recruited Rockit Gig affiliates. Additionally, Rockit Gig allocates between 7% and 17% of company-wide revenue to bonus pools, which are then distributed among affiliates.
