Randal Williams escalated his legal battle against eAdGear, filing an amended complaint in Texas federal court on April 2nd. He added fresh accusations of racism, embezzlement, and fund diversion to his original lawsuit.

The dispute began with a collapsed business relationship. Williams served as president of GoFunRewards, an eAdGear subsidiary, before starting his own venture, JubiRev. Now both parties trade allegations in court filings across Texas and California.

Williams first sued eAdGear in February, but his amended complaint sharpens the attack. It names specific executives and details what he claims is systematic fraud. Williams alleges eAdGear diverted $30 million from GoFunRewards accounts into unrelated bank accounts. He states $10 million of that amount remains completely unaccounted for, with only $100,000 ever reaching GoFunRewards accounts.

Three executives stand at the center of Williams' allegations: Francis Yuen, the COO; Lourata Chan, the CFO and Yuen's wife; and Charles Wang, the CEO. Williams claims they "took an active role in diverting funds away from GoFunPlaces" using a financial structure designed to defraud consumers.

The amended complaint introduces a new angle. Williams claims eAdGear management deliberately excluded him from critical financial decisions. They allegedly enforced a "Chinese only" rule for certain business transactions and processes. Williams argues this rule prevented him from learning about the fund diversions.

Williams also accuses eAdGear leadership of fostering an "extreme discriminatory and hostile work environment for non-Chinese and female employees." He states executives "routinely slandered and discriminated against non-Chinese employees." They enforced a "do it the Chinese way or get fired" platform, he claims.

These legal salvos show signs of a bitter fight between former partners. Weeks after Williams filed his initial complaint, eAdGear responded with its own lawsuit in California. That filing details what eAdGear characterizes as serious misconduct by Williams during his time as GoFunRewards president. eAdGear's lawsuit alleges Williams pillaged the company to fund his new JubiRev venture.

The timing of Williams' amended complaint suggests retaliation. The expanded accusations against eAdGear came shortly after their lawsuit landed. Williams added embezzlement charges and diversity of citizenship claims to the original filing. He also named Lourata Chan as a defendant, singling her out as the person blocking his access to GoFunRewards accounting records. Williams says these documents would expose the $30 million scheme.

What began as a failed joint venture has transformed into a legal war. Both sides make serious claims about criminal conduct. Courts in Texas and California will now sort through competing narratives about who deceived whom, who took what, and whether discrimination played a role in the company's collapse.
