A company co-founded by two former top earners from IM Mastery Academy—a firm the FTC just sued for $1.2 billion in fraud—is still operating and marketing its own products to recruits.

Nvisionu, co-founded by David Imonitie and Ivan Tapia, combines an e-learning platform, forex and crypto training, supplements, and discount travel. Neither man faced charges in the FTC's May 2025 case against IM Mastery Academy, but both promoted and profited from what federal regulators allege was massive fraud at the predecessor company. They remain listed as Nvisionu's co-founders on its website.

The platform charges $125 monthly for access to e-learning courses on technology, NFTs, real estate, and financial literacy. Nvisionu doesn't disclose who creates these courses or their actual value.

The company's forex and crypto trading component, branded as FL2 and "powered by BFX," exists only for education. It doesn't execute live trades. BFX Standard, the company supposedly behind FL2, is now defunct. Nvisionu doesn't publish FL2's pricing.

On supplements, Nvisionu marks up basic products at steep prices. Alive Shots—described as "daily wellness shots"—cost $150 for 30 servings. Alive Collagen runs $74.99 for 15 ounces. The company's coffee product, loaded with "over 30 thoughtfully selected ingredients," starts at $90 for two boxes. Alive Matcha rounds out the line at $70 per box. None of these are unique formulations. All appear to be white-labeled products from unknown manufacturers, repackaged and resold under the Nvisionu brand.

Vision Lifestyles, Nvisionu's travel discount program, promises "exclusive getaways" and "amazing destinations." In reality, these are standard discount travel memberships available through dozens of competitors online.

This is the second time BehindMLM has reviewed Nvisionu. The first review, published in August 2022, flagged the company's retail focus as decent but criticized its overpriced courses and mystery-origin supplements. A reader contacted the site in March claiming that review needed updating. On closer inspection, the core problems remain unchanged.

What's new is the shadow cast by the FTC action against IM Mastery Academy. The regulatory agency alleged the company operated a pyramid scheme that bilked participants out of $1.2 billion. Imonitie and Tapia weren't individual defendants, but their rise as top earners at IM Mastery Academy and their subsequent launch of Nvisionu follows a familiar pattern: when heat comes down on one operation, its stars simply rebrand and restart elsewhere.

Neither man has publicly addressed their involvement with IM Mastery Academy or the FTC lawsuit. Both continue marketing Nvisionu as a legitimate business opportunity, with the same recruitment-focused model that defines the broader MLM industry.

🤖 Quick Answer

What is Nvisionu and who founded it?
Nvisionu is a multi-category MLM platform co-founded by David Imonitie and Ivan Tapia, both former top earners at IM Mastery Academy. What is the connection between Nvisionu and the FTC case against IM Mastery Academy?
In May 2025 the FTC sued IM Mastery Academy alleging $1.2 billion in fraud.
