Wicky Suyanto, CEO of LifePharm Global, launched the company in 2011 as a subsidiary of LifePharm Inc. The parent company, established in 2001, had spent a decade developing and distributing natural supplements in the retail sector across six countries, often using celebrities to build brand awareness in Asia.
LifePharm Global maintains its corporate office in California. Its international presence includes offices in Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, and the Philippines, reflecting the parent company's Asian heritage.
Suyanto, born in Indonesia and educated at Pepperdine University in the United States, brought experience from several successful retail ventures in Asia. He and his family moved to the US for their children's education. Around the time his twin sons, Wickson and Winston, graduated from UCLA, Suyanto encountered studies on Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF). He saw an opportunity to develop a product, Laminine, and chose direct sales as the distribution channel. Wicky, Wickson, and Winston Suyanto together opened LifePharm Global Network in 2011.
Before LifePharm Global, Suyanto was involved with Pendura Life Visions. Dr. James Siripanich, a co-founder of Pendura, wrote in 2010 about Suyanto's "revolutionary idea" to let distributors own company shares. Siripanich noted that many companies promise a partnership, but Suyanto's approach aimed to make it tangible from the start.
Pendura Life Visions still operates a website at penduralifevisions.com, though the business opportunity itself appears defunct. Corporation Wiki links Pendura and LifePharm Global through Bernard Sjauta. Sjauta served as President of both companies. He was also credited as CEO of LifePharm Global as late as December 2012 and appeared as a co-founder in company newsletters from January 2013.
