Leonardo Cositorto, who is currently on trial as founder of the Generation Zoe Ponzi, is proving to be quite the drama queen.

Cositorto’s latest stunt sees him
reported
to have barricaded himself in his cell.

With the court waiting on his appearance to continue the trial, the “President of the Court” ordered Cositorto forcibly removed.

Upon eventually being presented at court, Cositorto claimed he was being “mistreated and discriminated against”.

Cositorto said that “he is tired of being transported with handcuffs and a helmet, I look like a drug trafficker. I am totally mistreated.

Later on Twitter (because for some reason Cositorto has access to Twitter while in custody), Costitorto claimed;

No one took me by FORCE, I just started being treated like a terrorist and I do not agree with a corrupt, perverse and uncontrolled state…

Here the lie… no doctor, no dentist, no care for a cough or a wound (AND THEY SAY IT’S TO TAKE CARE OF ME. HAHAHAHAHA) Thank God he is 100% Faithful and trustworthy.

It is unclear how Cositorto was wounded, or whether he was in fact wounded at all (surely this would have been addressed at the hearing?).

In a follow-up tweet, Cositorto then claimed Argentinian authorities “destroyed” his Generation Zoe Ponzi.

In our
Generation Zoe review
, BehindMLM noted the scam collapsed on December 18th, 2021. This was due to Cositortoa clearing out the original Generation Zoe smart-contract.

It wasn’t until February 2022, two and a half months later, that Argentinian authorities
made their first arrests
.

By this stage Cositorto had already fled Argentina. He would eventually be
apprehended in the Dominican Republic
in April 2022.

In November 2023 Costitorto
staged a hunger strike
after he was denied “special food in prison”. The strike didn’t last long, with Cositorto
staging a second short-lived strike
in April 2024.

In Goya Cositorto stands accused of “organizing a mega pyramid scam in which he involved more than 80,000 members.” The trial, which
began in October 2024
, continues…

Update 21st February 2025 –
In his Goya criminal case, Leonardo Cositorto has been
found guilty of fraud and criminal assocation
.
