Juan Caminero, aka John Caminero, has settled Profit Connect fraud with the Profit Connect Receiver.
As per a January 22nd filed proposed settlement, Caminero will pay back $10,500.
The Receiver’s investigation into Caminero revealed he received $32,354 from Profit Connect.
Upon further investigation, the Receiver contends that the Caminero funds were sent by Profit Connect to Caminero as “payment” for amounts “earned” and/or payment for reimbursement of purported expenses by Caminero when he was acting as an agent, servant, employee, and/or in concert with [the Profit Connect] Defendants.
Caminero contends that a portion of the Caminero Funds were paid for services he performed as an employee of Profit Connect for which compensation is due.
Push comes to shove, whatever was paid to Caminero was stolen from Profit Connect investors.
Caminero’s Profit Connect settlement was approved on February 7th, 2025. Caminero will pay back the agreed upon settlement in $500 monthly installments.
