Jim Aleksander Anderson has been arrested in Spain. Following his arrest, Anderson was extradited to France.
Details are vague but French police are reported to suspect Anderson “is involved in a large-scale Ponzi scheme.”
Anderson is
known to BehindMLM
through
Ultimate Business World
, a collapsed MLM Ponzi points scheme launched in 2016.
As “Jim Wolden”, Anderson (right) has already served time in Norway for two instances of tax fraud.
In 2000 Anderson, again as Jim Wolden, founded The 5 Percent Community (T5PC) in 2000.
T5PC was a fraudulent investment scheme that defrauded around 50,000 Norwegian affiliates out of ~$160 million.
T5PC management were sent to prison but Anderson fled to Spain. Norwegian authorities would later drop all T5PC criminal charges.
In 2006 Wolden declared himself bankrupt. In 2007 Wolden, still living in Spain, changed his name to Jim Aleksander Anderson.
From Spain Anderson continued to defraud consumers through Ultimate Business World and, evidently, other Ponzi schemes.
From a
report from VG
earlier today;
Norwegian Jim Aleksander Anderson was arrested in an operation in Spain in March.
VG has been informed that French police believe the Norwegian is the presumed main character in a larger case, which involves serious money laundering.
French police suspect that Anderson and a network around him are laundering money through the purchase of expensive luxury cars.
In a press release from March, police in Spain wrote that they believe the money originated from an international pyramid scheme – a so-called Ponzi scam.
It’s worth noting that Ultimate Business World was nine years ago. VG’s reporting suggests Anderson was arrested for more recent Ponzi scamming.
VG reports French authorities are working with two other countries. Including Anderson there have been seven related arrests.
In Spain, police seized 15 luxury cars with a total value of 3.5 million euros – around 41 million kroner.
In addition, exclusive watches worth 320,000 euros were seized – just under 3.7 million kroner.
In Andorra, four more luxury cars were seized in connection with the international police operation against the seven people.
120,000 euros, just under 1.4 million kroner, were also seized from several bank accounts, Spanish police said in a press release in March.
Beyond that case specifics have not been made public.
From my own additional research; In 2020 Jim Anderson registered the shell company “
Nordic Approval
” in France.
Instead of his Spanish address, Anderson represented he was based out of Dubai:
With Dubai being the
MLM crime capital of the world
, Nordic Approval might very well be part of the French suspected money laundering network.
Nordic Approval entered early dissolution in July 2021. The company was struck of France’s Grasse registry on March 4th, 2025 – the same month Anderson was arrested.
As per company records from North Data above, Xavier Nedjam was Nordic Approval’s former CEO (Jan t
