Gerry Dekens registered the IrisCall website domain "iriscall.net" on July 4, 2013, listing an address in Antwerpen, Belgium. Yet, the company's "anti-spam" policy advises mailing concerns to IrisCall International Ltd. at an address in Dubai's Jumeirah Lakes Towers. This Dubai address is owned by the Freemont Group, a company that provides "offshore company" registration and "asset protection" services.
IrisCall's website offers no information about who owns or runs the business. Its "About Us" page contains only vague marketing copy. This section claims IrisCall began in 2013 as a "collaborative effort between Top Software Engineers," an "Experienced Marketing Team striving for WorldWide Expansion," and "a Team of Visionaries who have a Defined Path to Success." Ironically, the same page lists "respect, integrity, and accountability" as core values.
Further examination reveals the office image displayed on the IrisCall website is a doctored stock photo. Edited versions of this same image appear on at least two other websites.
Dekens is credited as IrisCall's founder. His personal website, "gerrydekens.com," describes him as a "34 year old guy from Belgium" whose skills are "self-thought" (sic). He claims not to be an expert in anything but to "know a little about a lot of things." Dekens states he entered multi-level marketing (MLM) around 1995-1996, helping his father build an organization in the Netherlands.
He later returned to MLM as a "country leader" for Global Wealth. This role lasted a year. Dekens described the experience as "a bad idea," noting that "the company management turned out to be untrustworthy." He then launched his own company in 2010, which failed in 2012 due to a "partnership didn’t turn out to be a successful match." In 2013, Dekens launched a "co-operative Profit Sharing Association." IrisCall appears to be part of this association.
IrisCall's primary service is the "IrisCall All-in-One Portal." The company describes this as an "amalgamation of video email, global telecom, and v-services." They promote "Video Email" as "the biggest hype in Online Communication today," "Global Telecom" for "Viral Marketing through address book, building an instant Contact List," and "V-Services" as a "Video Services Portal that can offer you any service, as if you were there!" IrisCall advertises this "all-in-one" solution as free.
The IrisCall compensation plan centers on affiliates purchasing one of four "business associate packages" and recruiting new affiliates to do the same. Affiliate membership ranks total thirteen. These range from "Free" and "Business Associate" (simply signing up) to "President."
Achieving the "President" rank requires recruiting at least ten affiliates and generating five million accumulated points in the downline, with one million binary points weekly. Ranks like "Premier" need at least eight recruits and 14,000 accumulated points, plus 2,800 binary points weekly. No more than 60% of the total required accumulated points for any rank can come from a single unilevel recruitment leg.
IrisCall affiliates earn a commission for recruiting new members. The commission amount depends on the new recruit's initial spending. A Basic package yields 5 EUR, Bronze pays 10 EUR, Silver 35 EUR, and Gold 75 EUR.
If an IrisCall affiliate recruits at least five new members within their first 30 days, they also receive additional tiered recruitment commissions. These payouts extend to the recruiter, their upline, and their upline's upline. For a Basic package recruit, the recruiter receives 3 EUR, their upline 2 EUR, and the upline's upline 1 EUR. A Gold package recruit triggers a 20 EUR payment to the recruiter, 10 EUR to their upline, and 5 EUR to their upline's upline.
