A defamation lawsuit filed by iMarketsLive against Copy Profit Success Global (CPSG) and several individuals has been dismissed by a federal judge. The court ordered the case closed on October 22nd after iMarketsLive failed to pursue the action. This dismissal prevents iMarketsLive from refiling the same complaint.
The suit, initiated in mid-2017, named Joel Santiago, Joe Oits, Muhammad Zidan (also known as Mack Zidan or Mack Mills), Gregory Perdriel, Carlos Santiago, and Robbie Issa as defendants. Zidan notably switched sides shortly after the filing, ceasing opposition and beginning to promote iMarketsLive.
Gregory Perdriel was the sole defendant against whom the lawsuit saw some progression. An Entry of Default was recorded against him on August 21st, 2018, for failing to defend himself. However, iMarketsLive did not follow through.
The court subsequently directed iMarketsLive to submit a Status Report, a motion for default judgment, or a voluntary dismissal concerning Perdriel by October 15th. The company ignored this directive. As a result, the court dismissed the entire case with prejudice, meaning iMarketsLive cannot bring the same claims again. CPSG itself reportedly collapsed soon after its launch.
