iGenius’ unregistered CoinPro investment scheme has been quietly switched over to 3Commas.

first came across CoinPro a year ago
. The then newly launched unregistered investment scheme was “powered by CoinRule”.
As of July 2025 CoinRule still holds itself out as a UK-based “smart trading bot for cryptocurrency platforms”. This ties into iGenius’ promoters pitching consumers on passive returns through CoinRule and associated schemes CoinPro and CForce.
As per an “iGenius Overview” Youtube video, uploaded by iGenius promoter Anthony Napolitano on July 26th, CoinPro is now “powered by 3Commas”:
The official reason for switching to 3Commas is iGenius “outgrew CoinRule”. 3Commas appears to have been brought on either earlier this month or late last month.
So who is 3Commas?
3Commas operates from the website domain “3commas.io”. First registered in 2017, 3Commas’ private domain registration was last updated on February 16th, 2025.
3Commas is run by co-founders Yuriy Sorokin (CEO), Mikhail Goryunov (Marketing Advisor), Egor Rzumovskii (CTO) and Andres Susi (CBDO) – all of whom appear to be based out of Estonia.
While it is obviously operated from Estonia, 3Commas is registered as a British Virgin Islands shell company.
It should be noted that 3Commas launched with seed investment from Alameda Research, the bogus trading firm owned by Sam Bankman-Fried.
Bankman-Fried, also co-founder of the notorious FTX crypto exchange, was sentenced to twenty-five years in prison on March 28th, 2024.
In late 2022 3Commas was the target of a data breach, leading to at least $6 million in investor losses. Yuriy Sorokin
initially denied the breach
, claiming the allegations were “false rumors”.
Within a month the 3Commas breach was confirmed, with
the FBI was reportedly investigating the incident
. As of December 2022, 3Commas investor losses were pegged at over $20 million.
Not surprisingly, 3Commas pitches consumers on “automated crypto trading”:
There is no indication on 3Commas’ website that it has registered its passive returns investment scheme with Estonia’s Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority.
iGenius’ parent company Investview is registered with the SEC. As of Investview’s recent May 14th 10-Q report however, there is no mention of CoinRule or 3Commas in any of it’s filings.
As of July 2025, neither CoinRule itself or 3Commas are registered with the SEC – a potential problem for US-based Investview and iGenius.
As per the Howey Test, iGenius’ CoinRule passive returns investment opportunity is a securities offering.
As per the Securities and Exchange Act, offering US resident consumers unregistered securities constitutes securities fraud.
