GlobalNet Outdoors (GNO) launched in late March 2012 from Texas, co-founded by Stacy Smith, Tracy Smith, Keith Neal, and Darren Moyer. The company positions itself in the outdoor equipment market, claiming to offer gear for activities like cycling and hiking.
GNO states Stacy Smith has a veterinary background, while Tracy Smith worked for Nissan for nine years. Keith Neal is described as a "successful entrepreneur" with experience in real estate and mortgages. Darren Moyer provides the connection to multi-level marketing, with GNO saying he "has been a successful businessman in many different industries ranging from real estate to network marketing." ScamTelegraph found no online network marketing or MLM history for any of the co-founders, including Moyer.
The GNO product line, marketed through its retail arm GNO Direct, includes over 10,000 items. These span various outdoor categories. Products range from sights, scopes, and optics to decoys, rangefinders, and tree stands. The company also sells hunting accessories, bags, storage solutions, blinds, chairs, knives, and shooting accessories. Apparel for men, women, and youth is available, alongside archery bows, arrows, and targets.
GNO also markets the "GNO Pro Club" for $20 a month, with a discount for GNO members. This club offers an online magazine, a social network, and additional webinars focused on the outdoors niche.
The GlobalNet Outdoors compensation plan centers on commissions from orders, paid out through an expandable 4x7 matrix. GNO members also earn first order, team order, and matching team order bonuses. A monthly membership rank bonus is also part of the plan.
Several components of the compensation plan depend on a GNO member's obtained membership rank. The company has eight such ranks. The "Pro Scout" rank, for instance, requires a minimum monthly spend of $50-$60, 2000 minimum matrix PV a month, and the recruitment of at least three Professional Outdoo members.
