Global Wealth Trade significantly altered its compensation plan around mid-2012, a change confirmed after its website became accessible again. These modifications prompted a new analysis of the multi-level marketing opportunity. Ramin Mesgarlou leads the company, which continues to operate.

The company's core business remains luxury goods. Global Wealth Trade markets jewelry, sunglasses, handbags, wallets, and accessories under the 'Feri' brand. Prices for these items range from under $50 to $129,403 for the "Feri Mosh Majesty" ring.

Global Wealth Trade's original compensation model, reviewed in January 2013, utilized a binary structure. It rewarded affiliates with residual commissions based on sales volume generated by two binary teams. The updated plan, referred to here as version 2.0, retains the binary but changes how commissions are earned.

Instead of direct sales dollars, Global Wealth Trade now pays using a points system. Affiliates receive $500 when 5000 points accumulate in either their left or right binary team. Points are generated through various activities. These include retail sales, signing up new GWT affiliates, monthly membership fees, and monthly autoship payments.

Points from personal retail sales, new affiliate sign-ups, membership fees, and autoship payments calculate at 80% of the item's wholesale price or the fee paid. This wholesale price applies even when items sell to a retail customer. Points also generate from consumption and sales made by downline affiliates in the binary. For these downline activities, the rate reduces to 60% of the points generated by those affiliates.

The company also offers a recruitment bonus. Previously called the "Support Bonus," it is now referred to as "wholesale profit." GWT pays $50 for each new member recruited who signs up with a Silver, Plangsten, Gold, or Diamond package.

Affiliate autoship in Global Wealth Trade is termed an "Inventory Account" payment. Affiliates must make a monthly contribution to this account, which they can later use to purchase GWT products. The required monthly Inventory Account contribution depends on the affiliate's membership level. Silver members pay $35, while Plangsten and Gold members contribute $75.
