Flex, a new player in the AI spam multi-level marketing arena, is officially a B-Epic company. Co-founders Robert Sacco and Dan Putnam established Flex within B-Epic’s corporate structure. Putnam, who owns B-Epic and its associated MLMs B-Eco and Govvi, has a history of legal entanglements.

Putnam previously operated or owned MLM ventures O2 Worldwide, LurraLife, and Against All Odds. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a securities fraud lawsuit against Putnam and his associate Angel Rodriguez in 2020. The SEC alleged they defrauded consumers of at least $12 million through various schemes. Putnam settled the SEC’s Ponzi fraud charges in January, though financial penalties and restitution await a final order.

Robert Sacco’s LinkedIn profile lists him as a Pruvit distributor. In 2021, Sacco became involved in cryptocurrency ventures. CluCoin, a short-lived pump-and-dump scheme, represented a typical example of these ventures. Sacco also founded BitJar Labs, a company that claims to address the persistent issues in direct selling back-office development.

BitJar Labs’ corporate biography states Sacco has two decades of experience in network marketing back-office development. He has built large organizations, served as a Master Distributor five times, and held executive roles including VP of Marketing, VP of Business Development, VP of International Expansion, and President of international direct selling companies. Sacco has consulted on back-office development, international expansion, and IT for numerous companies, and has contributed to many compensation plans currently in use.

One of BitJar Labs’ projects, Selfles, launched last year. Selfles combined a humanitarian front with silicone bands and an NFT component. As of August 2023, Selfles appears to have failed.

Flex offers no retailable products or services. Affiliates can only market Flex affiliate memberships. These memberships grant access to an AI spambot named Rubi. FLEX Technologies markets Rubi as a revolutionary AI product powered by XO AI. Rubi uses microservices like SPI, Xtract, and Personify for content generation. The company claims Rubi allows users to generate high-quality, tailored content quickly, saving time and increasing productivity. Access to Rubi is tiered based on monthly spam generation limits. The Basic plan costs $15 per month.
