Elomir, a company operating in the nutritional supplement multi-level marketing (MLM) sector, claims to have been founded in 2021 by Toan and Van Nguyen. However, official incorporation records show Elomir INC was established in Texas on September 9th, 2021, with Terry LaCore listed as the sole director. LaCore also owns LaCore Enterprises, a company that acknowledges its role in Elomir's operations on the company's website.
LaCore Enterprises manages Elomir as part of its portfolio of MLM ventures. While the company website refers to LaCore Enterprises' "eco-system," it stops short of explicitly stating Terry LaCore's ownership and his practice of having others manage the businesses he controls. This lack of complete transparency regarding LaCore's direct involvement is a recurring theme.
Toan Nguyen, one of the claimed founders, was previously identified as the lead consultant for the DeFinity FI Academy, a Ponzi scheme whose website traffic has since dropped significantly and whose social media accounts were abandoned in March. Nguyen and his partner Van reportedly entered the MLM industry over a decade ago with Legal Shield. Their subsequent ventures include Nerium in 2015, Wor(l)d Global Network in 2017, and ByDzyne and BioReigns in 2019. Promotions for BioReigns appear to have ceased around October 2020.
Nguyen's involvement in cryptocurrency schemes began around mid-2018. Initially, he promoted various cryptocurrencies through "PIG" or "Passive Income Group." Approximately a year later, he began promoting "yield farm" Ponzi schemes, leading to his participation in MLM crypto Ponzi schemes starting with BNBBusiness in October 2021. Around January 2022, Nguyen was promoting Holton Buggs’ Meta Bounty Hunters NFT Ponzi scheme. As of April 2022, Nguyen continued to promote crypto Ponzi schemes on his P.I.G. Passive Income Group YouTube channel.
Yield Nodes, a non-MLM crypto Ponzi scheme promising an average monthly return of 10%, was also promoted by Nguyen. Shortly after he uploaded a video about Yield Nodes, the Terra Luna crypto crash occurred. Following this event, Nguyen became inactive on YouTube but continued to promote Ponzi schemes on Facebook and Telegram. It is suggested that while Nguyen promotes these schemes, Van may be handling the day-to-day operations of Elomir. The Nguyens are based in California, while LaCore Enterprises and Elomir are headquartered in Texas.
Elomir's primary product listed on its website is Axis Klarity, described as a blend of three simple ingredients combined with proprietary Diffusion Technology. The company claims users can feel the benefits within minutes by dissolving the strip on their tongue. The stated active ingredients are curcumin conjugate, NAC conjugate, and thiamine conjugate. Curcumin is derived from turmeric, and NAC refers to N-acetylcysteine.
