Eaconomy has secured a preliminary injunction against Ali Saleh.

Saleh
sued Eaconomy
in 2023. Saleh claims Eaconomy owes him $150,000.

Eaconomy and owner Hassan Mahmoud filed a counterclaim against Saleh alleging defamation. As part of their counterclaim, Eaconomy and Mahmoud filed for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction in April 2024.

In addition to
failing to pay his attorney
, Saleh also failed to oppose Eaconomy’s requested TRO and injunction. This led to the court issuing the following order on March 25th, 2025;

Mr. Saleh’s failure to file points and authorities in response to Eaconomy’s Motion for Temporary Restraining Order … and Motion for Preliminary Injunction … constitutes Mr. Saleh’s consent to the Courts granting of the motions.

As per the granted preliminary injunction Saleh is prohibited

from disclosing confidential information or from using it for any purpose, including disparaging or defaming Defendants, or interfering with Eaconomy’s contractual relationship.

The injunction will remain in place pending the outcome of Saleh’s case and Eaconomy’s and Mahmoud’s counterclaim.

Interestingly, Eaconomy collapsed back in March. Mahmoud (right) has
rebooted the scheme as Iqonic
.

At the center of Iqonic is a “swipe to trade” scheme. Under “swipe to trade”, Iqonic customers swipe to initiate automated trading handled by Iqonic.

Ali Saleh appears to have relocated from the US to Dubai. Saleh is currently promoting AkashX:

AkashX
is My Daily Choice’s unregistered trading scheme. Launched in 2020, BehindMLM documented
AkashX’s first collapse
in August 2023.

AkashX seems to have moved on from disastrous trading bots to “tap to trade”. Under “tap to trade”, AkashX customers click a button to initiate automated trading handled by AkashX.

If you’re thinking “swipe to trade” and “tap to trade” sound awfully similar, both schemes were programmed by MLM Protec LLC.

MLM Protec LLC is owned by AkashX owner Josh Zwagil. Zwagil just recently
got out of two lawsuits alleging fraud tied to Eaconomy ownership
.

Neither Iqonic, Hassan Mahmoud, AkashX, Josh Zwagil or Ali Saleh are registered with the CFTC.

Update 13th June 2025 –
A non-public settlement has been reached between Ali Saleh and Eaconomy.

As per a joint stipulation filed on May 28th;

The Parties reached a settlement agreement that resolved all claims, counterclaims, other claims, and all other requests for relief of any nature whatsoever that have been stated against each other in this action.

The court dismissed the case on May 29th.

🤖 Quick Answer

What preliminary injunction did Eaconomy secure against Ali Saleh?
Eaconomy secured a preliminary injunction against Ali Saleh on March 25, 2025, following Saleh's failure to file opposing arguments to their motion. The court granted the injunction as part of Eaconomy's counterclaim for defamation, which included allegations arising from Saleh's 2023 lawsuit claiming $150,000 owed by the company.

Why did the court grant Eaconomy's preliminary injunction motion?
The court granted the preliminary injunction because Ali Saleh failed to file points and authorities in response to Eaconomy's Motion for Temporary Restraining Order and Motion for Preliminary Injunction. The court interpreted Saleh's failure to respond as consent to granting the motions, particularly given his earlier failure to pay his attorney.
