CieAura, a multi-level marketing company, launched in March 2009 from its Texas headquarters. Paul Rogers assumed the CEO role in October 2012, following the company's acquisition by Digital Media Group. He replaced founder Ken Rasner.
Rasner's background in the MLM sector included a tenure as Vice-President of LifeWave. LifeWave markets a range of "patches," which the company claims stimulate acupuncture points. These patches, according to LifeWave, improve the body's energy flow and enhance overall health and wellness.
Rogers also carries a long history in multi-level marketing, beginning in 1998 with NueWorld, an e-commerce opportunity. That company later merged with Lexxus International, a health and wellness firm, where Rogers served as CEO. Lexxus International changed its name to NHT Global in 2006 after facing a lawsuit from car manufacturer Toyota over brand name similarity.
Rogers resigned from NHT Global in 2008. He then became CEO of LifeMax, a company focused on seed-based nutrition, staying there until early 2011. A few months later, Rogers joined CieAura as Chief Operating Officer, eventually becoming CEO in late 2012.
CieAura's product line centers on "holographic chips" intended for learning, self-improvement, and relaxation. The company explicitly states that no information should imply these products diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
The company claims these holographic chips work to "optimally tune or 'balance' your body." They purportedly do not create new strength but instead enable the body to function at its peak. This, CieAura suggests, results in greater endurance, stamina, and concentration, while maximizing the body's immune system.
CieAura states its manufacturer discovered a method to bind "intrinsic energies" into holograms. These holograms, the company explains, influence the human cycle by affecting key points. Natural meridians in the body can become imbalanced, causing blockages in the energy flow between organs, cells, and tissues. The chips, it claims, help restore this balance.
The company states the hologram proves an excellent medium for its technology. Holograms, it adds, hold more information than traditional data storage methods. And the formulas embedded within them cannot be altered, only erased.
