CashCropCycler launched in June 2013, presenting itself as run by a "Triple C Team" claiming to be three friends: Benson, Dave, and Anderson. The company's website domain, cashcropcycler.com, was registered on March 25, 2013, with private registration.
The alleged operators state CashCropCycler is their "first project." They offer no further details about past involvement in multi-level marketing companies. The "Triple C" name, they claim, originated in 2012 when they donated personal earnings to the Clarion Children's Choir.
CashCropCycler offers no retail products or services. Affiliates join and then buy positions within the compensation plan. Each position includes advertising credits, which members can use to display ads on the CashCropCycler website.
Affiliates purchase positions for either $10 or $50. The $10 positions promise a 186% return on investment (ROI) over 60 days. This creates a 2x1 matrix position. When two positions fill under a purchased matrix position, the affiliate earns a $2 commission.
The $50 positions offer a 129.6% ROI over 25 days. Affiliates must invest in at least two of these positions at a time. Only 1000 $50 positions can actively pay out a daily ROI at any given time across the company. Additional orders for these positions go into a queue.
For both position types, 30% of the paid-out ROI must be reinvested into the company. Affiliates must also add one website to a company-wide rotator and view a minimum of five websites daily through this rotator to qualify for their daily ROI.
Referral commissions are paid on all investments made by recruited affiliates. These commissions extend down three levels: 10% for Level 1, 3% for Level 2, and 2% for Level 3.
Membership to CashCropCycler is free. However, affiliates must invest in the scheme to earn any commissions.
CashCropCycler operates without retailable products or services. Its daily ROI comes from new investments and required reinvestments by affiliates. This structure meets the definition of a Ponzi scheme. The company, however, states, "CashCropCycler is not an investment website and should not be treated as one, what we do is sell advertising credits to our members and share revenue with all members."
