The BTChamp website identifies Kasa Navakantha Rao as admin of the company.
Rao is based out of India, which is presumably where BTChamp is being operated from.
Back in September Rao was marketing
ZarFund
, a bitcoin-based cash gifting scheme. Earlier in 2016 Rao was promoting
Power Hashing
, a 25 month ROI Ponzi scheme.

The BTChamp Product Line
BTChamp has no retailable products or services, with affiliates only able to market BTChamp affiliate membership itself.
The BTChamp Compensation Plan
BTChamp affiliates gift bitcoin to each other via a 2×6 matrix.
A 2×6 matrix places a BTChamp affiliate at the top of a matrix, with two positions directly under them:
These two positions form the first level of the matrix. The second level of the matrix is generated by splitting these first two positions into another two positions each (4 positions).
The third to sixth levels of the matrix are generated in the same manner, with each subsequent level housing twice as many positions as the previous level.
Each level of the BTChamp matrix functions as an individual cash gifting tier.
A BTChamp affiliates starts by gifting 0.0005 BTC to the affiliate who recruited them.
This payment in turn qualifies the affiliate to receive 0.0005 BTC from two affiliates recruited into the first level of their matrix.
Gifting payments across the other five matrix levels function in the same manner, the only difference being the amounts gifted as follows:
level 1 – gift 0.0005 BTC to the affiliate who recruited you and receive 0.0005 BTC from two subsequently recruited affiliates
level 2 – gift 0.0009 BTC and receive 0.0009 BTC from four affiliates
level 3 – gift 0.003 BTC and receive 0.003 BTC from eight affiliates
level 4 – gift 0.014 BTC and receive 0.014 BTC from sixteen affiliates
level 5 – gift 0.15 BTC and receive 0.015 BTC from thirty-two affiliates
level 6 – gift 1.8 BTC and receive 1.8 BTC from sixty-four affiliates
Note that all gifting payments within BTChamp (both paid and received) are on a 180 day subscription.
Joining BTChamp
BTChamp affiliate membership is tied to a 0.0005 BTC gifting payment to the affiliate who recruited you every 180 days.
Full participation in the BTChamp compensation plan costs 1.9684 BTC every 180 days.
Conclusion
On his Facebook profile, Kasa Rao (right) describes BTChamp as a “P2P Member to Member Donation System”.
Anytime you see “peer to peer”, “member to member” or “donation” used to describe an MLM opportunity, there’s a good chance it’s a cash gifting scheme.
Through a 2×6 matrix, BTChamp affiliates gift bitcoin to each other. There’s no justification for this, it’s cash gifting through and through.
After making a bit of money or (more likely) losing money in ZarFund, Rao has cottoned on that it’s far more profitable to run a cash gifting scam than it is to participate in one.
Reason being that in these matrix-based gifting schemes, the admin
