BNB Robot, a cryptocurrency scheme operating from Thailand, claims Ron Cartey as CEO and Daniel Schwartz as COO. The privately registered domain bnbrobot.io appeared on April 26, 2022. Marketing materials from the company lack verifiable executive information, relying instead on a robovoice narrator and unsubstantiated claims.
Cartey, identified as BNB Robot's CEO, previously founded AT Group, a Thai consulting firm whose online presence is virtually nonexistent and whose Facebook page has been inactive since 2015. Cartey resides in Pattaya, Thailand. He recently spoke at a Rotary Club meeting about his life and career as a motivational coach, a role he emphasized as significant to him.
Daniel Schwartz, also based in Thailand, has a history in fraudulent cryptocurrency ventures. He first surfaced in 2018 as Chairman and CEO of 3T Networks, a scheme that engaged in securities fraud through its distribution of worthless digital tokens. A December 2020 article in the Pattaya Mail identified Cartey as 3T Networks' Chief Business Development Officer.
Ironically, Cartey addressed an expatriate club about avoiding financial scams, just as he was involved in schemes like 3T Networks. That venture ultimately collapsed, a common fate for such operations. In early 2022, Cartey and Schwartz reunited to launch Elef World, an NFT-based Ponzi scheme centered on the Elef Token. Reports suggest Elef World has already stalled or failed.
The pair's history of fraudulent activity extends further back. Both were involved with YoCoin, a Ponzi scheme dating to 2016. Schwartz served as YoCoin’s COO, while Cartey held the title of VP of International Business Development. Their consistent pattern of launching and abandoning cryptocurrency scams points to a deliberate strategy of defrauding investors.
BNB Robot offers no retailable products or services. Participants can only market BNB Robot affiliate memberships to new investors. The scheme promises affiliates a passive daily return of "up to 4%" on investments made in Binance Coin (BNB). Commissions are paid on the recruitment of new affiliate investors.
The compensation structure operates on a unilevel system. This places an affiliate at the top of a recruitment tree, with all directly recruited individuals on level 1. Any new recruits made by level 1 affiliates appear on level 2 of the original recruiter's team, and so on, theoretically down infinite levels. BNB Robot limits payable referral commissions to five levels. These commissions are a percentage of the BNB invested across these five levels.
