Verne Packer shut down the YourNight social network earlier this year. The platform launched in November 2009 with a goal of 50 million members by November 2011, but it failed to gain traction. Packer told YourNight members the network suffered from "too much focus and attention on making money rather than building a huge member base of social users."

Months after YourNight's closure, the BizOppers social network entered beta prelaunch. BizOppers aimed to address the previous network's reliance on membership fees over user value. The new platform partnered with 'Super Word of Mouth' (SWOM), a social network that reportedly brought in over 140,000 members. BizOppers has since completed its beta phase and is now in its launch or prelaunch stage.

The BizOppers compensation plan centers on a 3x10 forced matrix, offering seven distinct ways to earn commissions. Free and Gold members can access the first two commission types. The remaining five are available only to paid Gold members.

One commission type is a $15 FastStart Bonus. This is a one-time payment for each new Gold member a user refers to the BizOppers network. A Recurring Gold Referral Commission also pays $2.50 per month for each Gold referral who continues paying their membership fees.

The 3x10 forced matrix forms the long-term commission strategy. A member starts at the top of the matrix, with three referral spots directly below them. Each subsequent level branches out with three new spots from the existing ones. This structure continues down ten levels.

A fully completed matrix requires 88,572 members. BizOppers claims such a matrix would pay out $103,420 each month. Commission payouts vary by level. Level 1 pays $2 per member across its three slots. Level 2 pays $2.75 per member for nine slots. Level 3 pays $1.25 per member for 27 slots. Level 4 offers $1.00 per member for 81 slots. Levels 5 through 9 collectively pay 50 cents per member across their combined 29,403 slots. The tenth level pays $1.50 per member for its 59,049 slots. Upline recruiting efforts can fill member slots through spillover.
