Citing securities fraud, the Malaysian SEC added BitradeX to its
Investor Alert List
on March 17th, 2026.

Following an internal investigation, the Malaysian SEC found BitradeX was “carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities”.

The Malaysian SEC flagged BitradeX’s website, Google Play Store and Apple App Store app listings.

BitradeX
is a Chinese MLM crypto Ponzi fronted by well-known French footballer, Olivier Giroud:

As of February 2026, SimilarWeb was tracking ~1.6 million monthly visits to BitradeX’s website.
