US authorities have confirmed an arrest warrant has been issued against fugitive Jason Cardiff.

As per a February 18th, 2025 filing from the DOJ;

Defendant was thrice ordered to return to the United States and the Court rejected defendant’s argument that he needed to remain in Ireland.

Now, defendant is a fugitive. The Court issued an arrest warrant and the government is moving to extradite him from Ireland.

The DOJ’s disclosure was made in a reply supporting forfeiture of Jason Cardiff’s bail.

Cardiff (right) had sought to contest the DOJ’s bail forfeiture motion via video conference, but was denied by the court on February 25th.

The same order also denied Cardiff’s request to reschedule the March 3rd bail forfeiture hearing to March 10th.

As far as I know the March 3rd bail forfeiture hearing went ahead. At time of publication however there is no update on Cardiff’s criminal case docket.
