Arbonne, a personal care multilevel marketing company, was founded in Switzerland in 1980 by Petter Mørck. Mørck, who hailed from Norway, passed away in 2008. The company’s current CEO is Kay Napier, who joined Arbonne in August 2009. Napier’s corporate biography states she possesses three decades of experience in general management, marketing, and strategic planning, with prior roles in the pharmaceutical and fast food industries. Her tenure at Arbonne marks her first executive position within the network marketing sector.
The company operates within the personal care industry, offering a wide array of products. These include skincare, bath and body items, hair care, sun protection products, cosmetics, fragrances, and nutritional supplements. Detailed descriptions and pricing for all items are available on Arbonne’s official website.
Arbonne’s compensation plan incorporates both retail and residual commissions. It utilizes a modified unilevel structure, organizing downline affiliates into distinct groups based on generations. A car bonus is also available to affiliates who achieve the Regional Vice President rank or higher.
To qualify for commissions, Arbonne affiliates, with the exception of Independent Consultants, must achieve at least 150 Personal Volume (PV) in monthly sales. Independent Consultants are required to generate 100 PV per month over a continuous 12-month period, totaling 1200 PV. Personal Volume encompasses sales made to retail customers as well as personal product purchases by the affiliate.
The Arbonne affiliate structure includes nine distinct membership ranks. The entry-level rank, Affiliate, requires the purchase of a starter kit for $79. Advancing to District Manager involves meeting specific monthly and consecutive-month volume requirements, either 1500 PV or 2500 GV (Group Volume) in a single month, followed by 6000 GV in one month, 6000 GV over two consecutive months with at least 2500 GV in the second month, or 7500 GV over three consecutive months.
The Executive District Manager rank requires the establishment of one first-generation District Group. To reach Area Manager status, affiliates must generate 24,000 GV over two consecutive months or 30,000 GV over three consecutive months. Specific conditions apply, including a minimum of 10,000 GV in the first and third months, with at least 2500 GV originating from a Central District group. The Executive Area Manager rank is achieved by creating one first-generation Area Group.
