Robert Oblon, founder and CEO of Amplifei, launched the nutritional supplement MLM in June 2020, just months after settling disputes with his previous company, Elepreneurs. Elepreneurs had accused Oblon of gross financial misconduct in February 2020, a claim that followed Oblon's departure from the company he co-founded.

Amplifei's operational base appears to be California, though its website lists a UPS Store address in Indiana. Oblon’s prior ventures include Elevacity, a travel booking engine MLM started around 2014, which later became Elepreneurs. Elepreneurs claimed rapid growth in 2018, calling itself the fastest-growing company globally that year.

Oblon's history in the multi-level marketing space is marked by controversy. Elepreneurs’ accusations of gross financial misconduct led to Oblon’s settlement and subsequent exit. The terms of this settlement were not publicly disclosed, suggesting a confidentiality agreement was in place.

Oblon also co-founded WorldVentures, a travel-themed pyramid scheme that has since collapsed. His association with WorldVentures reportedly ended in a lawsuit.

Amplifei’s products are not directly listed on its main website. Instead, they are marketed through Hapinss Brands, a separate entity. Oblon secured worldwide exclusive rights for a product called BiomeIX, a form of tributyrin, for Hapinss Brands in July 2020. Hapinss Brands aims to offer products and services promoting a healthy and happy family lifestyle, with initial offerings centered on gut health.

The product range expanded to include Hemplifei CBD products. Amplifei International received approval to market these new CBD offerings. Hemplifei’s CBD products are formulated exclusively for the company.

The company’s structure separates the MLM opportunity from the product sales, with Hapinss Brands acting as the product provider. This separation is an artificial construct, according to industry observers.

Robert Oblon previously co-founded WorldVentures, a travel-themed pyramid scheme that ultimately collapsed. His departure from that venture also involved legal disputes.
