Wealth Masters International's PURE product line is now slated for an early 2012 launch, nearly a year after its initial projected debut. The nutrition and anti-aging venture comes after repeated delays and a leadership change for the company.

Wealth Masters International first announced PURE and a finance subsidiary, Opes Partners, in November 2010. Opes Partners launched as planned in January 2011, but then faded from public view for most of that year. PURE, however, faced a series of postponements.

Days before its initial Q1 2011 deadline, WMI announced PURE would move to September 2011. The company also named Deanna Latson, a longtime WMI alliance partner, as PURE's CEO. Latson attributed the delay to her efforts in assembling a scientific board of advisors. She stated that securing MDs for the board required extensive time and negotiation, making the holdup "100% my responsibility."

Latson resigned from WMI Pure and cut all ties with Wealth Masters International three months later. No public explanation followed her sudden departure in July. Wealth Masters then became silent about the PURE project. September 2011 passed without any further announcements.

Rumors of a potential IPO surfaced briefly, but PURE largely appeared shelved. Then, less than 24 hours ago, Wealth Masters issued a press release. The company announced "the arrival of Dr. Becky and Dan Maes to lead PURE."

PURE is now scheduled for an early 2012 launch. Its stated focus will be "an innovative line of nutritional and anti-aging supplements aimed at increasing energy and mental clarity." This new timeline marks approximately a full year of delays before Wealth Masters expects to get PURE operational.

Dr. Becky and Dan Maes previously worked with Isagenix, a nutrition and health MLM company, which they reportedly left in January 2010. The couple then joined NuVerus, an organic juice MLM, departing shortly after. Reasons for their exits from either company remain unclear. Becky Natrajan, as she was known during her Isagenix tenure, married Dan Maes sometime between these roles.

Dan Maes works as an internet marketer. Becky Maes is a retired board-certified gastrointestinal specialist. Their appointment to lead PURE, given its nutrition focus and their prior experience with similar companies, appears to be a logical career progression.

Wealth Masters provided few details beyond the launch date and new CEOs. The company plans to announce PURE's full launch timeline at its m2 Wealth Conference. This event will take place in Maui from December 5-8, where community members can meet the Maes and preview the products.

"Our technology gives people an immediate 'wow' factor," Dr. Becky Maes stated. She added that "PURE products help the body absorb more nutrients at the molecular level." Dan Maes further claimed, "Studies show that it's conceivable to live to 120 and beyond. Our business model gives people the financial means to enjoy the journey!"
